Quicksilver is the pioneer when it comes to reef exploring. They were the first company to take customers to the outer reef in a commercial vessel. Now Quicksilver is well known in the tourism industry in Australia and it has many vessels under his name, travelling to different parts of the reef every day.
Quicksilver is a 45 metre wavepierce powered by four MTU 2000 series diesel engines. The vessel has 3 deck levels with a sundeck at the top, and internally provides lots of options to sit in comfortable seats in spacious rooms.
Quicksilver travel to the Agincourt located about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Port Douglas. The Agincourt reef is known as ‘ribbons’ and it is considered one of the most pristine eco-systems of the Great Barrier Reef. The water is quite clear and it provides great visibility for customers. Great for snorkellers and divers to explore the reef.
Quicksilver travels to a big floating platform so customers spend the day on a nice and comfortable place. The deck has 2 deck levels with chair, tables, a sundeck and lots of space.
There are lots of activities available at the platform, some of them included on the tour price such as visit to the underwater observatory, semi-submersible tour, snorkelling equipment and fish feeding in the afternoon.
