Silversonic is a 29 metre vessel custom-designed and built to take guests to snorkel and dive the reef. Silversonic departs Port Douglas every morning visiting 3 beautiful outer reef sites at the Agincourt Reef. They provide visitors with a great day where they can spend over five hours exploring the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef.
The Agincourt Reef is located at the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef where special reefs known as ‘ribbons’ run parallel to the continental shelf. These ribbon reefs are considered one of the most pristine eco-systems of the Great Barrier Reef. The clear waters and great underwater visibility encourages coral growth and supports beautiful marine life, making the location quite special for divers and snorkellers.
The Silversonic vessel features a state-of-the-art ride control system for a smooth journey, hot freshwater showers, change rooms, air-conditioned lounges and a licensed bar.
The day includes unlimited snorkelling at 3 different locations, a free snorkel tour, hot and cold buffet lunch, morning and afternoon teas.
Extra activities include:
This is a great trip for travellers who are confident in the water and would like to spend lots of time snorkelling and diving the reef.
