T6 is a new vessel featuring the latest technology and ultimate comfort. They provide guests an easy access to the water through their snorkelling platform. Tusa has been running tours to the reef for the past 25 years so they hold great knowledge and experience .
T6 can carry 120 passengers but they cap their numbers at 60 guests only, making the whole reef experience quite personal. The crew is trained to ensure everyone on board has a fun, safe, and memorable day on the beautiful Great Barrier Reef.
The Captain chooses the reef sites according to weather conditions on the day, travelling to most calm waters where clarity and visibility are best. They usually change reef sites almost daily, bringing visitors a whole new experience and adventure every time they travel with Tusa.
Snorkellers are provided with quality masks, snorkels, booties, fins, wetsuits, and/or lycra suit, depending on the season. Noodles are also available to make snorkel easier for those ones not confident in the water. A guided snorkel tour is given free of charge to all guests.
Once in the water divers explore the depths of the Great Barrier Reef while snorkellers swim over the tops. Both activities provide memorable experiences.
The day includes unlimited snorkelling, guided snorkel tours, reef education presentation, morning tea, afternoon tea and a hot and cold buffet lunch.
