Sailaway is a 5-star luxury sailing vessel that travels to the Low Isles daily and delivers personalised service to all guests.
They limit their guest numbers to a maximum of 40 passengers, this way making sure everyone on board has a fantastic time and a pure sailing experience.
Low Isles is located approximately 14 kilometers from Port Douglas and is part of the Great Barrier Reef. Low Isles is 200 hectares in size consisting in a small coral cay, a large mangrove island, mudflats, seagrass beds, and beautiful coral reefs. The coral cay and the mangrove island are separated by one common beautiful reef.
Low Isles and its active lighthouse are protected by the marine park legislation. The larger island, Woody Island, is an uninhabited coral/mangrove island but has a large bird population with many different bird species.
There are many activities available for visitors during the day such as unlimited snorkeling, a guided snorkelling tour with a Marine Naturalist and a glass bottom boat tour. Also included for the day is morning, afternoon tea and a delicious tropical buffet lunch with prawns.
Snorkelling around Low Isles is a pleasant and easy experience because the coral is just off the beach so visitors slowly enter the water and snorkel. Perfect for kids or first time Snorkellers.
This is the perfect day for families and couples seeking island relaxation.
