Guests have the platform for themselves from 3:30pm when the Sunlover vessel departs the reef until 11am when the boat comes back with new passengers. The meals served are not to disappoint with cheese and fruit platters as the sunsets over the Great Barrier Reef, and a 3 course traditional Australian gourmet barbecue later at night for dinner.
Sunlover Cruises is a respectful tour operator that takes visitors daily to the Great Barrier Reef. The vessel departs every day at 9:30am from the Reef Terminal and travel to Moore Reef located 40 kilometers from Cairns.
Day 1 starts with travellers checking in at the Reef Fleet Terminal, boarding their fast, air-conditioned catamaran and cruising to their large pontoon. Sunlover Cruises is a great reef tour option for families or non-confident swimmers who may not be able to snorkel. The platform offers their guests activities during the day such as complimentary glass bottom boat coral viewing tours, semi-submersible tours, underwater observatory, snorkelling, and fish feeding conducted along with an informative Reef Talk.
Also included for both days are morning tea, afternoon tea and a tropical buffet lunch with seafood, hot dishes, salads and tropical fruit.

All Divers: In accordance with the Australian diving law, ALL DIVERS must complete a medical questionnaire on board, before diving.
Flying after diving: If only one dive is undertaken then a minimum of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If more than one dive is conducted in the day, an interval of 24 hours is recommended.This is not applicable for low helicopter flights over the reef.
Introductory Divers - NOTE: Certain medical conditions may prevent you from diving (e.g. Asthma, Heart Disease), please contact our office.
Introductory Dive & Sea Walker:Minimum age is 12 years.
Age: Minimum age: 12 yrs (18 must be accompanied by an adult carer).
Reef Tax: $10.00 is levied for anyone entering the Great Barrier Reef. This charge and other levies are INCLUDED in the cruise fares.
Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
