Two great locations in one day!!! Enjoy 2 hours on the tropical Green Island and then travel to the outer reef to Norman Reef where guests spend the day on a floating platform filled with great activities including a low helicopter scenic flight over the reef. This is the perfect tour for the whole family.
The view from the helicopter is amazing proving a totally unique reef experience unlike any other. The colours of the reef are brighter and richer from the air. Make sure to have the camera ready to take great photos of the colourful reef and marine life.
Green Island is a beautiful coral cay located on the Great Barrier Reef with tropical rainforests surrounded by white sandy beaches, beautiful coral reefs and extensive marine life. During the 2 hours on Green Island, snorkelling equipment is provided so clients can explore the reef around the island which is located just off the beach.
After exploring the island the journey continues to Great Adventures spacious floating platform in the outer reef. The pontoon is suitable for all ages, swimmers and non-swimmers, as the platform offers activities for people who want to get in the water and also for those who prefer to stay dry.
The pontoon features undercover seating and tables to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, full bar facilities, sundeck, a swimming enclosure for children, change rooms with freshwater showers and scuba diving facilities with a semi-submerged platform. The main activities included are unlimited snorkelling, underwater observatory, semi-submersible coral viewing and reef education presentation.
