This is a great tour for visitors who want to learn more about the indigenous culture and also have a helicopter adventure.
The helicopter takes off from Cairns where passengers get to see the marina, Trinity Inlet and the beautiful Cairns mountains. Then the flight continues towards the Daintree where the views become even more special. The locations that can be seen from the helicopter are the Northern Beaches including the famous Palm Cove, Double Island, Port Douglas, the Daintree River before reaching the Daintree Rainforest.
Once the helicopter is on the ground passengers will join the Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal tour where they will learn about the environment, different foods and about the medicines utilised from nature. Visitors will also learn and try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices. This is a fun and informative tour suitable for all ages.
After the tour visitors are transferred to the Daintree village where they will enjoy lunch and cold beverages.
After lunch it is time to re-board the helicopter and fly back to cairns for another spectacular scenic flight.
