Come and see the reef from a different and unique angle, from the air.
In this exciting helicopter flight visitors will be able to see how big and beautiful the Great Barrier Reef really is with all the different colours that can only be seen from the air. Passengers can choose to do a 30, 45 or 60 minute flight.
The flight experience starts with the helicopter heading towards Green Island where passengers see the beautiful and famous coral cay. Afterwards the next location is the outer reef where passengers see locations such as Vlasoff Cay, Upolo Cay, Arlington Reef and much more.
In the 45 minute flight option passengers will also get to see Oyster Reef and the itinerary for the 60 minute flight is Green Island, Outer Great Barrier Reef, Oyster Reef, Upolo Cay and Cairns. Have the camera ready to take amazing photos.
Passengers is provided with a headset allowing them to easily communicate with the pilot, who knows the region well and will share his knowledge with everyone on board.

Passenger Weight: Please note that client’s body weight must be advised prior to the reservation being confirmed as per Australia's Aviation Policy. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10%, the right is reserved to charge a 100% cancellation fee.
Insurance: The helicopter operator carries full insurance including Public Liability Insurance of $50,000,000.00.

Age: Adult age: 15 yrs + / Child age: 4-14 years inclusive.
Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
