This is a fully guided tour to Cape Tribulation Daintree Rainforest which is a world heritage listed and considered the oldest rainforest in the world.
This tour is called budget because it is great value for money, travellers don't miss out on anything. The tour includes all locations and attractions that a good cape tribulation tour deserves, including a Smoke Ceremony with a local indigenous guide.
The Welcome to the Country Smoke Ceremony is done to keep away bad spirits. Then the indigenous guide takes visitors to see traditional huts or humpies through the rainforest. He demonstrates how to identify food sources and how to use traditional plants.
Travellers then go for a swim at the beautiful Mossman Gorge swimming hole, where the water is crystal clear. The next adventure is the river cruise where participants cruise along the Daintree River and get to see crocodiles in their natural habitat.
After crossing the river, travellers enter Cape Tribulation National Park and the guide takes everyone to experience the rainforest on a boardwalk and also a walk along the beaches.
