Cape Tribulation Overnight Tour at Cape Trib Beach House

Day one of this tour is operated by "The Adventure Company" a locally owned tour operator, which has a dedicated team of staff devoted to ensure that each passenger travelling with them experiences a great time.

Their overnight stay tour gives travellers a chance to explore Cape Tribulation without any rush. Clients can relax amongst the rainforest in their own poolside villa; party with friends in a dorm style room; or enjoy the company of family in a self-contained apartment.

The drive between Cairns and Cape Tribulation contains all the ‘must see’ attractions including Rex Lookout, Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, Daintree river ferry, Alexandra Lookout, guided walk along Cape Tribulation Beach.

Extra activities to purchase includes: The Rainforest Habitat (a Wildlife park where guest are welcome to interact with animals) and a delicious lunch at Capetrib Beach House.

Accommodation: Cape Trib Beach House

The Cape Tribulation Beach House Resort is a unique 3 - 4 star Cape Tribulation accommodation resort. This Resort is situated on 7 acres of absolute beachfront with direct access to the Cape Tribulation Beach. Guests are offered a truly wild, unique and private tropical holiday experience. Their shared facilities are equipped with hot showers, a guest kitchen and guest laundry.

Type of accommodation available:

Multishare: (5 people max) - Shared room with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities
Ribbon Dorm: (3 people max) - Single beds - Private cabins ensuite with shared balcony.
Endeavour Family Room: (4 people max) - Double bed and two single beds - Nestled into the rainforest, these cabins feature air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, wheelchair access (upon request) and a shared balcony.
Mackay Cabin: (2 people max) - King-sized bed - These private cabins are located 30m from the beach. The rooms feature air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, and shared balcony.
Crispin Cabins: (2 people max) - King-sized bed located only 20m from the beach, these stand alone, secluded cabins accommodate two guests. The cabins also feature air-conditioning, ensuite bathroom, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, and a private balcony looking towards the ocean through the jungle.

Activities at Cape Tribulation:

Jungle Surfing:
Jungle Surfing is a unique and exhilarating way to experience the beauty of the world-renowned Daintree Rainforest. It is a fun, educational, fully-guided activity where people can feel the freedom of flying. Clients fly through the trees on seven flying fox ziplines, stopping at six platforms over the treetops where they enjoy a beautiful view of the Daintree rainforest and the ocean. Min age is 3 years old.

Horse Riding:
Cape Trib Horse Ride is a great way to explore the unique environment in Cape Tribulation. Experience the unique meeting of the the Daintree Rainforest, The Great Barrier Reef and Myall Beach. All riders will have the chance to go faster than a walk as they cater for all types of abilities. The guide makes sure everyone has a great tour. Min age is 5 years old.

Jungle Night walk:
This great guided night walk allows clients to connect to the nature in an unique way. Discover what lies beneath the blanket of darkness and be amazed about what the Daintree Rainforest hides at night. Some animals only come out in the dark at night so this is a great tour for nature lovers.

Enjoy a guided rainforest walk and see the crystal clear waters of the Mossman River and get in the water for a swim
11:00 The journey continues to Cape Tribulation
12:00 Enjoy a break to have lunch (optional delicious lunch at Capetrib Beach House)
13:00 Cape Tribulation Beach
Where “The Rainforest meets the Reef”. Enjoy a walk or swim in this beautiful location.

The journey continues to the majestic Daintree River for a 1 hour Wildlife and Crocodile exploration.

Please Note:
Level of fitness:The rainforest walk is graded easy and it can be done by anyone with any level of fitness.
Meals at Cape Tribulation: Please note that no meals are included in this package. Travellers can take groceries to cook in the shared facilities or purchase at the restaurant in the accommodation.
Junlge Surfing:Harnesses available to fit children aged 3 up to adults weighing 120kg/260lbs
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and all persons under 18 years must have our Medical Declaration & Waiver Release signed by a parent or guardian prior to the tour
No prior experience or specific fitness required. Not recommended for pregnant women.
Jungle Night Walk:Min age is 8 years old. No experience necessary, but tour requires moderate fitness.
Horse Riding:Min age is 5 years old. Under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Age: Adult age: 15 yrs + / Child age: 4-14 years inclusive.

Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.

Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is to be completed 48 hours prior to departure or on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy.

Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.

Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
