Experience a fantastic journey into one of the oldest rainforest in the world with amazing views of waterfalls such as Stoney Creek Falls and the Barron Gorge. The train travel through 15 tunnels and over 37 bridges between Cairns and Kuranda.
On the Return Kuranda Scenic Railway Tour travellers travel up to Kuranda by the train and travel down back to Cairns again by train.
Kuranda offers visitors with many shopping opportunities, all within short walking distance from the train and the skyrail station. The Kuranda markets open daily and it is the most famous market between tourists and locals, it consists of locally made arts, crafts and produce stalls. Kuranda has also several art galleries and quite a large range of sidewalk cafes and restaurants. Kuranda is also a major centre for opals and didgeridoos.

The Kuranda Classic Tour is the most popular way to visit Kuranda. Travellers travel up to Kuranda by the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and travels down back to Cairns on the famous Kuranda scenic railway. Also pick up & drop off from hotels and accommodations are included in the day package.
Discover where Australia begins at Tjapukai. Clients will enjoy a unique cultural experience with performance, dance, food and arts. Afterwards visitors catch the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to Kuranda and then the Scenic Railway back to Cairns in the afternoon.

Visitors travel by the scenic railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and also visit the Rainforestation, which is a 40 hectare park surrounded by beautiful rainforest and tropical gardens with many activities available.
Booking fees: Tourism Cairns do not charge any booking fees.
Deposit and final payment: At Tourism Cairns clients are required to pay a deposit only at the time of booking. Final payment is usually paid directly to the tour operator on the day of travel, depending on each tour operator's policy. Some tour operators request full payment at the time of booking.
Cancellation by the traveller: If the tour is cancelled by the client up to 7 days prior to departure, a full refund is applicable. If the tour is cancelled by the client 7 days prior to departure, the deposit amount might be retained. If the tour is cancelled by the client 48 hours prior to departure, 100% cancellation fee may apply.
Booking amendments: If the date of a tour needs to be changed, Tourism Cairns must be notified in writing by the client up to 48 hours prior to the tour date.
